Flight of the Conchords follows the trials and tribulations of a two-man, New Zealand digi-folk band as they make their way in New York City. The band is made up of Bret McKenzie on guitar and vocals, and Jemaine Clement on guitar and vocals.
You can even see the first episode on the HBO page!
Sundays at 10:30pm ET on HBO.

Hey, I'm Heidi; I was introduced to FOTC by my sister who found it on HBO.
I'm a loser and thought I'd join yet another community because I never bothered to back in september.
I hope this community stays active because there's only two communities with FOTC as an interest.

So, I downloaded the new(old?) vision clip from whatthefolk.net, and it kind of freaks me out cause Bret's face looks so skinny and long, but it's only 2 years ago. ( Picture comparison time?: )

I'm pretty much going to repeat what whatthefolk.net has said, cause I'm cool like that. I wonder how he gets his information?! Well for those in the Americas (wait does Europe have CBS? I'm so ignorant), they are going to be on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson tonight. And also those in the LA area can see them on Saturday 10:00pm for $8 at the UCB Theatre. Yessss....
So when/how'd you find out about FotC?

So, do you think fotc will come to L.A.-ish, California? And it made me so sad to find out that they were on Conan the night before I was into them. How was it?, for those you saw it.

This is my first time posting in this community, and it's too bad that it looks like it's been sorta quiet around here.
I saw Flight of the Conchords on Comedy Central tonight...it was my first introduction to Bret McKenzie, and oh my goodness...
All I have to say is ♥
I found this fun link while doing some Bret research on google.
I hope things pick up around here!!!

Gees, this place is full of fun! Don't go wild now. As I can see there hasn't been a post posted in here for a very long time. So I've decided to give my 2 cents and say that I've recently fell in "lust" (saying love just sounds too fangirlish - which I'm not *shifty eyes*) of the digi-bongo-thingamajig-whatsamacallit? fourth most popular folk music duo Flight of the Conchords. I should of just said Flight of the Conchords, but felt I should elaborate. I watched and recorded 2004's comedy festival or gala held in Montreal, Canada. I sat and waited for their performance quite impatiently. When they did come on, the tight-arses over at Channel Ten (the channel station that featured the festival) decided to show half of their act, like many others. They sung their gangsta folk rap, Bret as the Rhymenocerous and Jermaine as the Hip-Hopopotamus. The tune is catchy, the words were hilarious - the act overall was GREAT!! I cannot deny it any longer, I am now a freaky fangirl. *Cringes*
